OK straight girl, here's the deal. You don't get to reclaim insults unless you are one. wow, jeeze... i don't even know where to start here. because you're actually the first person to ever be mad at me over using that word.

i gotta say i completely disagree with your point on intention... because to me intention is always much more stronger, important, and powerful than literal words. that's where "bad" words come from... from use in an angry violent manner. i'm aware that homophobes have used the term faggot in an insulting manner. but isn't it the expression and feeling of hate... not the literal word itself... that hurts people?

in this case the word was directed at myself and my shitty slash "art" in a joking manor. which i think you realize... therefor i'm not sure that i did anything wrong. i certainly wasn't trying to be offensive at any rate. the last thing i ever want to do is hurt other people.

"You don't get to reclaim insults unless you are one." to be honest with you, i don't really understand most unwritten rules (a personality flaw, i'm sure). but that one has gotta be one of the worst! by saying "only i get to use this word because i'm in that subset of the human race" you're actually propagating social inequality, which is the opposite of what i think you'd want.

are you really upset with some stupid fangirl on the internets for taking your word? or did you actually just want to vent some of your anger about the current anti-gay society you live in. irregardless of my sexuality i'm obviously not homophobic, so i'm not who you should be mad at.

i could get upset at you for calling me "straight girl" and an "anti-gay yaoi fetishist" as you are assuming A LOT about me, considering we've never really talked and you don't know me at all. and i can tell that you did mean for those things to be insulting. but i'm not upset, because this is the internet... and i like my internets to not be serious business.

anyways, i'm sorry if i truly offended you. i'll change the title if it bothers you that much. but i just wanted you to re-examine WHY it bothered you. and on a personal note... people say terrible things all the time without thinking. but you shouldn't take all of it to heart, because you'll end up geting mad at everyone about everything and become very bitter about the world.
